Citizen DAO Governance

Citizen's decentralized autonomous organization is responsible for the governance and management of the Citizen Reserve protocol and network. The staked CTZ token confers vote equity in governance of the protocol. The DAO has an extensive set of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • determining the global interest rate on Citizen Bank contracts

  • whitelisting additional collateral types

  • electing and whitelisting additional validators

  • electing council members and the executive

  • fine tuning rate and fee parameters

  • determining use of revenue
